Canvas Corp. Banner Contest, Cool Cricut Winnings, and Mobilizing Your Blog

Shall I just begin by saying this post is way random!

Again in my effort to balance my life...life is winning.
So, my projects are finished but
I need to write the tutorials - I need interns!

I jiust want to start by saying that through this blog I have met so many amazing and talented an

NOW...
Here are some cool things I must share!
Oh there is more...it is coming...a little at a time!
********************************
First I am so thrilled. I was asked to be a judge in the Canvas Corp Banner contest. I LOVE Canvas Corp. I was introduced to the line at CHA (yes, I do have some blogging to do about that trip ...still - I did say I need an intern!).

Canvas Corp. has some seriously awesome product from canvases, to burlap and canvas shape for buntings and more to paper and fabric tags...I could go on and on...LOVE them!

Canvas Corp.
is having a banner contest!!!!! You must get in on the action. I will be posting my banner next week (yes, really!). Get all the scoop on the contest and visit Scrapbook.com for an extensive list of Canvas Corp. merchandise to use to create your banner.
********************************
I have had a Cricut for sometime and had not used it a whole lot, but at CHA I met Kristal from Getting Cricky with K. Andrew Designs.
She introduced me to the Sure Cuts a Lot (SCAL) software. I wanted it so badly! When I returned home, I went over to go visit her blog and she was having a 50 state blog hop in honor of her move across the country. I joined in, visited every blog on the hop and guess what...I won. I actually won 2 cool prizes.
First I won the SCAL software download and access to theme and template sets from ScrappingTable.com.
I am beyond excited.
AND
I also won the Cindy Loo cartridge from Creative Cutter Retreats.
This is a seriously CUTE cartridge.
Just wait for all my Cricut goodness! Thanks ladies!

As I was perusing blog world the other day, I ran across Mom Tried It
and even though I had (yes, had until about 2 hours ago) a stinky phone,
I knew most people are way more mobile than I!
She had a tutorial on how to make your blog mobile...
I did it and have been told it makes all the difference!
You have to go to the Beta Dashboard of Blogger in draft.
All of the easy-peasy tutorial is over on Mom Tried It.

That's all for now. See ya soon!

  9. Holly from doing the mobilizing a while ago and recently finding many more blogs that are now mobilized I have found a slight problem in the design. The mobilized blog automatically has a comment form underneath, people will write in this and click publish (obviously) and if you have your comment form normally under your blog everything works just fine however if you have a pop-up window it will then redirect you to the pop-up and all your writing will be gone making you type in the comment again. Pretty crappy but hey. I have just changed mine to the comment form being below the post but it's quite a problem.

I have just added a thread in my blog frog forum about it:
