Tickled Pink 33!

504 Main
A craft...a recipe...a tip...a party...a short story...a  poem...
a  fashion find...a  favorite product...your favorite  post...
whatever makes  your blog  fabulous!
That is what Tickled Pink is all about!
{and it does not have to be PINK}
*************************
FIRST...new idea for tickled pink:
I have visited every link...not everyone received a comment, but I DID visit (it does not mean you cannot/will not be featured). If you want to guarantee yourself a comment, leave a comment on this post and better yet, scroll over your link and get the thumbnail number and leave it in the comment! I am going to keep trying until I figure out how to manage this.
*************************
I am Tickled Pink because...
I went shopping (that usually makes me happy unless it is for bathing suits) and found this great store in Carmel-by-the-Sea called Eco Carmel  - everything is about green living, sustainability, and natural health. The ladies there were fabulous and there was so much to look at..I think I am in LOVE!
And I spent some time walking around Carmel with my baby girl!
Anyway...I was picking up some Mythic Paint {LOVE!} for me...um, the house,
and saw this fun and fabulous gift for Jules...Glob Natural Paints!
I picked up this kit...full of fragrant color packets that you just add water to!
I am giddy - I cannot wait to try them!
 *************************
I am tickled because watching the kids decorate the tree and listening to Joe tell Jules all the thing I told him about each ornament or why we do what we do was priceless! He is listening!
*************************
TWO sets of neighbors moved this week! So sad!
They were awesome neighbors and I am sad to see them go. One of them did leave me quite the surprise on my porch - a boatload of American Girl doll accessories. That was VERY sweet, but I'd still rather have them back as neighbors.
*************************
I am considering having a Best of Tickled Pink Party - I'll go through and pick out the top Tickled Pink links since I started this madness...and of course I want you to play along! So, start thinking about your BEST post of the year and come link it up on...OK I have not decided...should we do it in 2011 or the last week of 2010. Oh decisions!

  1. So, I'm definitely thinking that for your Tickled Pink party, you should do it the last week of 2010. Come January, I pretty much forget that the previous year existed... but I love doing all the "year in review" stuff right before New Years!!

  3. Hi Holly! Thanks for hosting. Love your picks as always. I was Tickled Pink when my 5-year old's preschool teacher asked me to come in an explain Hannukah. I am Catholic, my hubby is Jewish... so I tickled myself by being able to explain the Festival of Lights to fifteen 5 year olds... play the dreidel game with them, talk about what a menorah is... and have it make sense. Did I mention these kids all go to a religious Episcopalian school? So this was new territory and I felt like I pulled it off!

  7. Hi Holly!

Don't you just love listening to your kids retell you what you have told them. I listen to Lia tell my parents something that Troy or I had told her and she is so entralled in telling it. It just makes me smile!
I think the "Best of" should be the last Friday of the year. It will be a "Tickled Pink New Years Eve Party". LOL
Okay, I want to enter the giveaway. Of course I am a follower. And what tickled me most this week was taking Lia to the dollar store and letting her pick out the ornaments to put on "her" Christmas tree. We got a little tabletop tree at the thrift store for $1.50. Last night we put it all together with her ornaments and I swear she sat and stared at it for an hour straight. She is so excited about her tree and all her ornaments. Everything is so perfect in her eyes!

  9. Happy Friday, Holly! :>

Okay, so I immediately had to hop over to Moore Minutes to check out that new take on the advent calendar...what a fun idea! And oh my, I'm swooning over Flamingo Toes and right after I write you, I'm heading straight to Eco Carmel's site to check them out, they sound great. On a side note, you've sent me back in time to several day trips out to Carmel to wander, window shop, & just soak in that great little coastal town. Happy sighs. :>

I must admit I got a little giggle linking up today. Guess why?! My link up project is actually pink! LOL...hahaha... I wasn't intentional, but I did get a most silly giggle and silly giggles really do count as those little things that make me smile. Am I making *any* sense here at all?! Or should I just hurry up & get a cuppa java so that my mind starts thinking a little more coherrently?! :>

Oh yea, my link up is #48!

Hope you are having a fabulous Friday, Holly! :>

  28. As usual, so many good things to speak about but my absolute favorite is that your oldest was sharing all the traditions and tales you taught. Very few things feel as good as when we realize that our children are listening. Yay! Yay! Yay!
