I am spending some time reevaluating my blog and the time I spend on it...and the rest of my "career." Do you ever notice you miss out on some real life when you are on the computer all the time?...that's what I feel like. I need a time management expert to come and whip me into shape!

I have been fried time-wise for 10 years now...and I'm not kidding...no time off from work in a decade....a day here and there but that's it...now, I'm complaining...(note to self....be more positive) : ) In any event, have a wonderful evening, Holly, and I hope you find the solutions that are just right for you and your family.

BBQ Chicken Skillet pocket thingies. I know what I want for dinner. I hear you on the computer and time management issue. I would love for someone to follow me around for the day and make notes of where I could be more efficient. It isn't a good feeling to constantly feel like you are not giving your best to each area of your life that is important to you. I decided to try two things, raise my hourly rates for my contract work. Those who don't want to pay will go away, those who really want work done will pay, maybe this way I will have less work with the same pay. I am calling it "shaving off" a little area for myself. Sounds much more palatable than "cutting back". Which to me sounds like a diet or a budget and both have a negative vibe.
Hope your writing is going well, job hunt I hope is ending soon. Lots of love from up here in Brentwood. -K
