3M Frameworks Giveaway...the Right Equipment for the Job!

How well do you collaborate with others?
Can you and hubby DIY together?
Can you craft with a friend?
Can you build something with your Dad?
I attempt to do all of these things and for the most part it all works out.
BUT, there is a special brand of communication that happens when 2 people work together.
That's Couple Speak - that special way of communicating - or not - when working together. Sometimes it's funny, sometimes silly, sometimes it leads to a brief moment of tension, but in the end (hopefully) it all works out.

Here's a sample of the current Couple Speak at our house:
Me/Hubby
Me: "We should paint the family room"
Translation: Grab a bucket and brush buddy!

Him: "Why? What's wrong with white?"
Translation: Go for it...I'm in the middle of a good book.

Me/Joe
Me: When do you want to paint your room?
Translation: Are you going to help?

Joe: Later.
Translation: You can do it while I am at school.

No matter how we translate one another, thankfully the one thing we have all learned about DIYing is that the right products and proper preparation and safety precautions are necessary.

3M Frameworks has amazing products for safety and function:

I recently grabbed my 3M TEKK Protection and the Pro Grade, Sandblaster™ and went to work on my deck railings.

We had the deck power-washed and sealed only last year, but the weather has been especially wet and miserable...and it looks like it has been YEARS since we have even gone outside! Scary, right?
Oh yeah...and it is a BIG deck. Guess what I will be doing for along while.

I used the 3M Sandblasters in  and I am well on my way to reviving the beauty of my deck. First Green fro stripping paint and old finished,
and then the red for sanding bare surfaces.
 TA-DA!
 Much better, right!
Still some work to be done...but on the right track!
************
ScotchBlue™ Painter's Tape
I LOVE painting stripes and all kinds of things on my walls - this is a must have.
************
3M™ TEKK Protection™
From my own mistakes and those of my Dad too, I have learned that protection is of the utmost importance. I once spray painted chalkboard paint inside a small playhouse...wish I would have been smart enough to use the right protection then!
************
Scotch® Tough Duct Tape
It is Duct Tape...what more do I have to say!

************
3M™ LeadCheck™
This is especially important to me as I live
in an older home and have kiddos. No lead for me please!

These products are so amazing and really make completing any DIY job safer and easier.
