DIY Yarn Tassels

I have always been obsessed with tassels. I really cannot even begin to tell you how much I love them - on shoes, pillows, blankets, jewelry...everywhere and anywhere. Burlap Table Runner for a Turkey Tablescape

A few weeks ago, I was visiting my parents in Southern California,

 and jumped at the opportunity to go shopping at the Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store 

by their house for the supplies for this project.

My head was spinning...I had so many ideas.

I saw burlap...

I saw yarn...

I saw gorgeous papers...

I saw ribbon...

I saw, well everything!
I had a vision (sort of)...and now  I had the supplies.
It all eventually came together with a

Join Me For a Pom Pom Party!

When I get together with my friends, we love to try new projects.

So, when Quirk Books asked if I wanted to review the book

Pom Pom's: 25 Awesomely Fluffy Projects...

and throw a little pom pom party for my friends, you know I said "YES!" 

I have loved pom poms forever.

I remember making them when I was a kid.

I remember wearing them on my tennis shoes and in my hair.

Pom Poms are simply fun...you really cannot help but smile!
