Tickled Pink No. 19

504 Main
What does it mean to be Tickled Pink?
"The tickling pink concept is of enjoyment great enough
to make the recipient glow with pleasure ."
-The Phrase Finder
*************************
I am tickled pink and a little nervous because...I am off to SITS Bloggy bootcamp in San Fransisco. I will be leaving my baby {OK, she is 3} for the first time ever...overnight. I am crossing my fingers for hubby. And then there is the whole social aspect of Bloggy Bootcamp...I am much more interesting and witty and marvelous {ha!} on the blog than in real life! Am I a fraud? Will I be exposed! Perhaps.
I am tickled pink because I scored some awesome old wood windows at the dump...I have so many ideas! I need to go back and buy the rest. There was a chair calling my name too, but I am not sure I am ready to tackle a reupholstery job! My friend got the 2 best scores...it is good and bad to shop with a friend with similar tastes!

So, I will see ya on Monday with all kinds of ways to improve my blog (maybe, hopefully) or at least a full nights sleep (maybe, hopefully)
***********
Tickled Pink is a little different this week. I am swamped with my "real" paying gig and prepping for out of town...and just about everyone seems to be having a final summer hurrah....so no featured bloggers today...that is back next week.
For today some fun stuff I found and the spotlights!

NOW...on to BUSINESS!
The Antonio Treatment ran on HGTV after one of my favorite shows, Design Star. I LOVE this show! And, well, I love Antonio - yeah, I like a bad boy {didn't marry one though!}...I think he is dreamy {in a tattooed designing dude way}. He won me over with his Bright pink painted birds last season...
 {photo above from HGTV}

...and then he painted a room purple {I have a purple living room!}, and well, on his new show, let's just say I cannot wait for more of him...I mean his designs.
Check out this wall of reclaimed wood! I have watched this part of the show at least 4 times. You will be seeing this in my house, my garden, anywhere I can sneak it is. L-O-V-E! Sorry for the photo quality - I could not find one photo online, so I took photos of my TV - I felt so 13 again! Now I need to go record some songs from the radio and try to sing them.

    Woman- you must NEVER sleep!
I am tickled pink by all the things you have shared and will be busy all weekend following them up.
Will keep my mind off garage saling which I am trying to cut back on. Saving up for a village wide sale Labor Day weekend. Going alone so no one can tell me I don't "need" (such an odd word) that.
You will have the best time at Boot Camp and being the generous person you are I look forward to learning much from you in the months to come.

  28. Hi Holly,
I really wanted to go to bootcamp too, but I was too chicken and too afraid that there would be a lot of "big" bloggers there and I'd feel awkward the whole time! Maybe next time I'll gather up muy courage! Hope you are having a great time!
