Decorating with Pictures: Capturing Joy with Kristen Duke

I grew up with family photos all around me.
That love of photos took me through middle school,
high school, and into my adult years.
When I think back, just about every year I got a new camera -
nothing fancy, just something to capture memories and moments.

I snap photos of my kiddos all the time. I scrapbooked them, framed them, printed them on canvas, and even made a Family Heirloom Wreath. I am always wanting to find new ways to display photos of my family in my home.

Recently I was asked by Kristen Duke to participate in her series
I was thrilled (and then freaked out - would my photos be good enough?!)
Kristen has an amazing lineup of bloggers and photographers over at her place all showcasing the many gorgeous and unique ways to decorate with pictures.

AND GUESS WHAT...It's my turn today!

Here is a teeny tiny peek...
I have been obsessed with transferring images to wood using a gel medium, and was excited to transfer some of my family photos to wood. It is fun, a little bit funky, and different...and I love it!
You need to head over to Capturing Joy with Kristen Duke to see the tutorial!
